bioDensity has been designed as a system that achieves a high return on investment for the commercial customer. Payback of the initial hardware investment is consistently well under one year, with the best healthcare operators (often chiropractors and physiotherapists) achieving full payment in less than 2 months and annual returns 2xceeding 400%, inclusive of payment of the monthly database management fees of $550 per month. Most customers are cash flow positive in the first month of operation.
Regarding rates being charged, there are basically two models used most often.
Among the medical/healthcare/wellness providers a per session rate of monthly and annual program plans. The per session rates range about US$75 to $20 generally depending on the type of customer market being served. Monthly rates for this group range from $225 to $50.
As for the training and fitness providers, there are similar rate programs, but tending toward either monthly or packages of sessions most often. The monthly rates range from $100 to $40 and packages are sold with per session equivalents between $25 and $10.

If you’re in the fitness club/gym and personal training business you’ve got to be excited about the upcoming year and all the great new innovative equipment and awesome results-driven training programs available to offer your members and clients. I’ve never been more excited about the fitness future than at this very moment and I believe 2012 is going to be an exceptional year.
So many new innovative results-driven products have been introduced to the market place in the past year or so that educate, motivate and spice up members/clients fitness workouts. Offering new innovative equipment to your club on a regular basis is a sure way to differentiate yourself from the competition. It’s a Win-Win!
But unfortunately most of Asia lags far behind in differentiating their clubs! In my travels over the years I have found that a vast majority of fitness clubs in Asia are typically drowning in the sea of similarity and boredom and don’t get members results. In almost all cases the only research performed before opening a club consisted of a visit to the club down the street (nothing wrong with that). But as a result of that visit the conclusion reached was to copy that club in almost every aspect. Also believing this being the safest bet, as well and the best way to compete.
Not particularly a good business decision to take the “cookie-cutter” approach offering the same standard line of equipment of look-alike treadmills, elliptical, recumbent and upright bikes and the usual 8-10 weight stack strength machines. The end result being absolutely no differentiation whatsoever and certainly nothing new to offer the potential prospect shopping around. And certainly no reason for an existing member of a club to come and join the new “cookie-cutter-look-alike gym”. Today many of those clubs that took such an approach are just hanging on and barely surviving and having to drop prices in order to hopefully attract new members. — ZZZzzzzzzz!
